So my whole schedule is going to be disrupted over the next few days.

I am moving out of my current place, and going to stay with a friend until I find a nice place I can afford.

I have been having serious issues with my landlord. He has flat out refused to fix a pretty nasty mold problem in my place. You can literally smell the rot in my bathroom, and I have mushrooms growing in all my window sills.
I wrote him a long letter explaining that I felt that I had been very patient, it’s been at least six months since I first brought the problem to his attention. I requested he compensate me for all the furniture I have to throw out because of the mold, and that he should compensate me for not keeping decent living standards.
His response was to evict me (I paid rent late once back in December). I know that he’s breaking some laws, and I’m filing an official complaint with the city, however, in the meantime I refuse to pay another thousand dollars to stay in this dump for another month, so I’m doing a bit of an emergency move.
Don’t miss me too much! I will try to get on as much as I can over the next week, and will be back on schedule by next weekend. I am new to the OHC family, but I love it here, and want to succeed. Can’t wait to meet all of you!
