Has anyone been to this steakhouse called Ruth’s Chris? They are supposed to have some of the best steaks around! Now, I haven’t been but I have to say…I find it unlikely that this is true.  Why, you ask? Simple: my roommate makes the best steak around! Seriously! I never knew this girl could even cook until last night…she decided to make a steak dinner for me and our other roommate and whens she first told us she was making steak I was pretty happy because I absolutely LOVE steak but at the same time I thought to myself that it would probably just be ok. Boy, was I wrong!! It was freakin delicious!! Better than I’ve ever had at any restaurant! Seriously AMAZING!! I think I will have to hire her as my own personal cook!! What can I say, I love my meat!! hehe ; )

Some of you already know this and some of you didn’t, but I had midterms all last week and let me just tell you…it was awful!! lol.  All the studying and staying up late!! I mean, I don’t mind staying up when I’m having fun, like when I’m camming, but staying up to read boring textbooks…ahhh it is torture!!  

Now for the bright side of this whole ordeal…it seems that all the torture I endured actually paid off!!  So far I have gotten my scores for two of my exams and I did exceptionally well!! For one of them, I got the highest score in the entire class!! I couldn’t believe it!! I still think the prof might have graded it wrong…haha!!  I’m still waiting on my scores for four other exams…and I’m hoping I did just as well!!  So lets keep our fingers crossed on that one

So in my very first blog I wrote about possible getting a puppy.  If you read it, then you know I was super excited about it!  Here’s a quick recap: my friend is moving to a new place where they don’t accept pets so she asked me if I would be interested and willing to take in the pup, to which I said, “OF COURSE!”  The thing was that I would only get the pup if my friend’s mom wasn’t able to or unwilling to, whcihc seemed very likely.  Ok, so I found out earlier today that her mom will take in the cute little pup, so…no puppy for me :(

As you can imagine, I’m terribly sad about it   I was so loking forward to owning a little puppy for the very first time!  On the bright side, the thought of almost getting the puppy has gotten me so excited that I’m now considering getting another puppy anyway.  Won’t happen today, won’t happen tomorrow, and probably won’t happen a month from now, but it will happen soon :)

Ocean’s Eleven…Ocean’s Twelve…Ocean’s Thirteen: who’s watched these movies? I really liked the first one, found the second one confusing, and the third I just watched today (also confusing).  Now, I did enjoy all three of them and found them entertaining, but at the same time I found myself thinking, “Geez, this plot has gotten way too complicated!”  The characters are great, the overall storyline is interesting, but dang, they really have a lot of twists and turns and unclear moments…lol…maybe it’s just me and everyone else understands what’s going on just fine? Well, if you’ve seen these movies and would be so kind as to help me understand…that would be amazing!! And of course, I HAVE to point out: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon are just as amazing as ever!! Hehe.  Speaking of movies, I’m going to try to catch “He’s Just Not That Into You” today.  It came out in theatres Friday.  As I listened to the radio this morning, one of the radio personalities was talking about it and she had nothing but good things to say about it!  And the commercials make it seem pretty interesting too!  A total chick flick, I’m sure hehe.

So I’m taking this class…it’s supposed to improve speech and articulation, but all it’s done so far is…well…make me roll around on the floor…haha.  Seriously, we show up to class every other day to take part in these vocal exercises that are supposed to help us improve our breathing and resonance but so far all they’ve done is get my clothes a bit dirty lol.  For example, today…we had to lay down on the floor with our legs up on a chair and breathe in different ways, at different intervals.  Then we got up with our arms stretched out and make sounds such as, “HA” and “LO” at different volumes and pitches.  What’s worse is that most of the other people in the class take it so seriously, or at least act as if they do.  I have a friend in the class who also think it’s silly so I don’t feel completely left out, so I at least have that lol!  I know I should probably take the class more seriously but I just can’t!! And the fact that the professor has a scratchy voice really doesn’t give much credibility to the course!  I kind of feel like it’s a waste of time but I don’t really have a choice, I have to take this course and at least I get a good laugh out of it!

Today…was a GREAT day! Why, you ask? Well because I went to the beach and I absolutely LOVE it there! The weather was great in Cali today…sunny, breezy, PERFECT! So a few friends and I decided to head down to the beach this afternoon and it was AMAZING!! I hadn’t gone to the beach in a while just because I’ve been so busy lately but I finally got a chance to go

It was kind of packed, though, which we did expect since the weather was so great but eventhough it was bit crowded, it was still fun and we actually ran into some other friends once we were there.  I don’t know about all of you, but I absolutely love going to the beach…it makes me smile!!

A friend of mine owns a miniature poodle and because she is going to be moving to a new apartment soon, where they don’t take pets, she’s asked me if I would want to take in the little pup!  I’m super excited about it! It’s not a sure thing yet, because she’s also asked her mom (I guess you can say I’m kind of a backup lol).  So if her mom is unable to take in the pup, then it’ll be mine!! I’ve never owned a dog before, so it will be a completely new experience for me, I’ll sure need some tips and pointers! Thankfully the pup is already pretty well trained eventhough it’s only a puppy, and he already knows me because I go over my friend’s place a lot, so he’s very familiar with me, but I know it will also be challenging in many ways! So I’ll be in need of lots of tips and pointers! Wow, I’m getting so excited just writing about it! Maybe I shouldn’t get so excited, though, since it’s not a done deal and I don’t want to get my hopes up high just so the come crashing down! Ok, I’ll try to resist being so excited lol but if I do end up getting that pup, it’ll sure be a fun experience! That’s for sure!
